Voice-Over Foundations
Understanding the instrument and the industry it serves.
- The voice-over industry: narration, commercial, character, corporate and IVR
- Breath support, posture and vocal warm-ups
- Diction, articulation and accent neutrality
- Tone, pitch, pace and vocal stamina
- Vocal health: hydration, rest and what damages a voice

Script Interpretation & Performance
Turning written words into a performance that sells.
- Breaking down a script: intent, audience and key message
- Marking a script for emphasis, pauses and pace
- Reading styles: conversational, authoritative, warm, energetic
- Character voices and consistency across takes
- Taking direction and adjusting on the spot

Studio & Recording Technique
Clean capture, in the booth and at home.
- Microphone types, placement and proximity effect
- Controlling plosives, sibilance and room noise
- Booth etiquette and session flow with an engineer
- Building an affordable home recording setup
- Basic editing: trimming, noise reduction and levels

Career, Demo Reel & Business
Getting paid for the work.
- Building and structuring a professional demo reel
- Pricing, usage rights and quoting for jobs
- Finding clients: agencies, studios, brands and online platforms
- Auditions, self-tapes and turnaround expectations
- Invoicing, contracts and managing your voice business
